Awesome build great job. Sorry about your pops with all this to the car. If you get a personal license plate it should be the name of your father and memory of him.

Damn impressive build you have there. You still have all the other toys like the F150 with the whipple?

Tim

Yes I still have the 2004 F-150

I also have a 97 Viper GTS bolts on with nitrous.

Okay, you have to explain the Viper picture now. I love the story about your father. I had kind of the same moment in 13' when my father died. He couldn't tell me as he was to far gone from a stroke but, I got the hint and started living life like I wanted to again and got off my ass and finished my car. I had a VERY stellar year in 13' and got lost again in 14'. It is all back on track now for 15'! You only live once, and you better do what makes YOU happy!

I bought the viper on my 22nd birthday, and took my now wife Erin to go buy it. When we got married 4 years later, she picked out a car museum for our wedding venue. I was going to sell it a few years ago, but she forbid me lol.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 3B since I'll be making a lot less power than you. We'll see how she does on the 2-step and footbrake and if I'm unimpressed, then I'll look into the 2-relay transbrake. I'll be watching your build to see how that's working out for you. Thanks for the input.

So 2nd center section from moser still wined, tuning not quite done, but I have it for a bit while we are waiting on Moser to figure out how to get this straight. Data logging driving it around, got some tip in stumbling, and slight shifting issues etc. Close, but not quite done.

The E-85 pump picture.

Right before my 10.6 pass...
IMG_20150322_095130.jpg

Second pass sunday was a 10.6 at 124, launching at 3400rpm, and the car not shifting 3-4 and coasting through the traps on low boost.

I'm going to say a successful first outing. Drove 55 miles to the track, lowered my air pressure to 18lbs, set the transbrake low at 3400rpm, Ran the 10.6, drove to a gas station and aired my tires back up, drove home another 55 miles picking lunch up through a drive thru. I really can't complain.

Guys who just tear into shit always amaze me. I'm always afraid the shit would come apart on me because of a bone headed mistake.

It's not like my car hasn't been driving, I had about 500 miles on the car before I went into the track... I had been doing short burst to 110-120mph in mexico, which is just right before the 3-4 change.

still in the mid 10's... sounds like it's coming around. Little more seat time and some tuning should put this thing down into the 9's I would think.

oh easy... I was on it's lowest boost setting, and let out before the 1000' mark. We built this car with the full intention of running an 8 second 1/4 with just lowering air pressure and adjusting shocks. so..basically another 600rwhp, tuning/shift points, full pass, and higher transbrake/2step...

I figured as much. Was going to say we have guys here running mid 10's NA with those 5.0. Looking forward to watching this.

I haven't been able to take this darn thing back to the track. Every weekend I'm free it's raining, or multiple tracks has some events etc.

Tuning is getting much better, still need a day at the track with Manny to fully get the transmission dialed in.

So RR was a blast, car still needs some tuning(got some good logs) and i screwed up some being my first roll race event. Around 130ish it would just nose over for a second or two, then go back full throttle and I still hit 162mph, one of the fastest of the weekend.
