Of course I know which each mean and what not...

However, here is my thoughts about it all. I couldn't hook at all which is why my 60' and 300' are so high, however, my trap speed is nearly 125mph...

So does that mean that if I hook good, get a lower 60' and 300' my trap speed will increase and my ET will decrease?

And yes, this was my very first day to ever drive on a track.

That 1.75 isnt "terrible". You weren't spinning out the hole were you? If you were, it probably was just for a split second.

125mph is moving man. That must have been a blast, going 11.4 on your first trip to the track ever. Nice!

15 psi in the tires and launching at 3500...

and yeah it was a BLAST!!!!! In fact 7 of 8 runs were all over 122mph

Damn, spun all the way thru second, still pulled a 1.75 and an 11.4. Get that thing to hook and it's gonna feel like you programmed the time circuits and turned on the Flux Capacitor.

The 11.4 run was against a Vette... He tree'd me and since I was spinning he was gone, I pulled around his ass at the 1/8th... I bet he was pissed!! hahaha and finished about 5 cars on him.

It was a runday sunday so we only got half the slip. no idea what he ran.

125 is pretty fast, in fact on a n/a car, its a 10.80 mph. In my experiences, when you spin you get a higher trap speed, when you hook, your trap speed will be a little lower, but your et will be lower too. My fastest trap speed and fastest et that are on my Sig were not on the same pass, in fact when I ran an 11.20 my speed was only 124. But my fastest 60' and fastest et were on the same pass. Hope this helped.

You have the power for a 10 second pass. You need to work on suspension for sure. You should be able to pull a much better short time with bias ply tires.

As your car hooks better and better, your times will come down and so will your speed. I wouldn't doubt you'll see a 4-5 mph reduction in speed once the cars starts to hook but you'll be closer to 10's.

From watching you stage, I'm thinking a better burnout would help those 60'. Heat those fat suckers up good and they definitely won't spin. Plus they are brand new so they need a few passes to get in the sweet spot.

Yeah, Wed, line locks, cobra jet springs, and the extreme anti-roll are going in.

My burnouts were suffering, the tires wanted to be sticky but as soon as they started to they would push the car and the brakes wouldn't hold it.

Nice work, Bruce. Congrats on your car, I know it's been a saga. I'm hoping to be in your shoes soon, if I can ever get past my damn clutch issues.

Awesome time, thats about all she has in it unless you can get below a 1.7 60ft.
The better your 60ft the better the et and your mph will go down a little. If you spin alot the mph will show higher.

Your 60' time is pretty good a 1.7 for your first time out.... And the mods you mentioned above should help a bit.... What other suspension mods are you running currently Bruce other than the DRs...

You should squeak out some 10s with a 1.5-1.6 60'

Also what gear are you breaking the traps in?

LCA and Relocation brackets and Eibach Pro kit in the rear, stock in the front. Stock struts and shocks. No rear sway bar during that day.

I am going in the traps in 4th at about 6200rpms which is perfect cause my limiter is set at like 6500-6600 somewhere around there.

I am installing this week, Cobra Jet Springs and a BMR extreme anti-roll set up.

I will then start to save up for some QA1 shocks...

I also believe this car has 10's in it, it I can get it to hook. Which of course shouldn't be a problem if I can get the tires to heat up enough.

Lower tire pressure will help a bit.. the spinning can be also due to the fact that after your burn out, the 15psi you've started with is now much higher - maybe 18-20psi. That'll help a bit with the spinning..maybe even drop it to 13 to start..
