If say it took around 30min to load on my ps3. Stayed up till about 1:30 doing little missions to open up some land to see what's going on.

You don't need to do missions to open up the land. Just run around and everything is open already after the first couple missions.

Did you install both discs or just the install disc? My guess is your console glitched out or something and thats why it took so long.

get in a plane and do a fly over. Its amazing how big the world is. Not only is the land huge, but the underwater part is pretty big too.

It took a good 20-25 min, and I only got one disc for PS3 it's blue ray

I was watching the IGN spoiler-free tour of the map. He said the deepest he has gone is 1/2 in-game mile under water. lol

well thats not terrible. I knew i had to install the game so I set it up to install and then went and made dinner. Then by the time I was done I could play!
