No, he is prob just waiting for more 5.0 guys to get involved...instead of making a bunch of 3V guys feel bad :beerdrink:

At Midnights they do't give out slips so I have no idea what the 60's were, but I was faster than a pair of bolt-on 5.0's; both 3.73 cars with CAI, tune, LCA's, axle-back, and shifter.

I definitely feel the car has more in it with better air and more seat time. 93% humidity FTL. I need to come and run in some of those mineshafts up north!!!! Overall I am pleased and had a great time.

Need a bit thicker spacer to get the skinnies to clear the Brembos.

My tune puts my fuel cut at 7500 with my boss manifold (needs revised), I know a lot of guys are having better luck shifting around 7700.. food for though.

Still on the stock tune (7500 rpm redline)



I have CAI/tune coming this week and the rev limit will be raised accordingly. :thumb:

I can't believe how sexy it sounds spinning to 7500 with stock EVERYTHING (side pipe baffles removed of course). Can't wait to see/hear 8k!!!

1st pass missed 3rd

2nd pass - 12.65

3rd pass - 12.8? spinning

4th pass - 12.6 bogged a bit

5th pass - 12.47

6th pass - 12.8? hot-lapping before track shut down


Lost the first run to a buddy in a TT Viper. ACtually treed him hard but missed 3rd and he freight-trained his way to a 12.2 @ 121 IIRC

Beat 2 bolt-on 5.0's, SRT8 300C and a Honda?

What were you launching at? Pre Boss intake, I had luck cutting 1.6's at 5000 rpm launches... post intake, I had to bring the launch upwards of 6000

I was playing around in the 4-5 k range.

4k = bog
5k = spin (at least I was too aggressive with the clutch)

It "felt" best @ 5k with a little bit of clutch slip




I REALLY wish I could see my 60's from last night. It's hard to go by "feel" alone. I don't race enough to know without hard data.
