Very cool Vista Blue V6. My Sally is Vista Blue too. Tell us more about your car. What's the rear? Auto or Manual trans?
What mods have you done?
Everyone thinks it's a V6 because of the badging and small fog lights.
It might have been cheaper to put V6 badges and small fogs on a GT!
Great build! I'm sure it's been rewarding.
Ah, very stealthy! That's great. We've only had Sally just a year last August and have basically just been enjoying this surprisingly fun little gem. Never been to the track with her, but may do so this year, but on the state roads and backroads in the Adirondacks she's shown impressive handling, decent acceleration coming out of the turns, and has returned just under 30 MPG on road trips. Sally is our first 'Stang, and she shares space with "Thunder", our behemoth 72 T-Bird a 429-4V, C6 Base car, and Janet, our "Lady-in-Red" 69 Javelin SST that I "adopted" long ago in April 1980.
As to this forum, it's been a great opportunity to read about other's cars, modifications, stories and we appreciate it, and the membership that contribute. Thanks, all!
Literally everything on the car is used. I'm a frugal Mustang owner and do all my work myself so no labor charges involved. I'd say I have about 10K in this car, including the cost of the car. For me it was cheaper to go V6 to V8 route, although that was never my intention when I bought the car. If I wasn't my own mechanic then hell yeah, it would've have been way cheaper to go V8 right away and just throw on V6 badging.
