so i sold my stock unit and now want to buy an upgrade...

WTF should i get

-i like the app radio mainly for the app controls so i want something with that
-something with very few to no buttons on it. like the app radio
-doesnt have to play dvds
-sub 500 price range
- i love netflix

i'm extremely handy at wiring and such, and i make it look better than most professionals can in half the time. so i will be installing myself.

i know a lot of the headunits require a special cable to remove the sub pop on powerup.

here's a couple units i've been eye balling

I updated your links to a better site and cheaper. I buy from Sonicelectronix's all the time.

I would keep away from the app radio's. I got one for my wife, and after a month she hated it. She is a get in the car and go person. She hated the fact that she had to plug her phone in all the time just to listen to music or anything.

If I was to pick out of those 4...It probably be the Kenwood

I have the pioneer 8400 and I love it, works great with my iPhone. I have an old iPhone 4 I keep in the car and run everything off of. Also the Bluetooth works great too. You can run Netflix on it. Also it was easy to wire up to the shaker 500. I got mine from crutch field and got all the wiring I need except the iPhone control cable. Get the control cable from ebay, cheaper and works just as well.
