Need to know where this wire goes. A friend took it off while installing twins and now doesn't remember where it goes.

The other end is the harness. It's a 14' 5.0.

agreed, looks like a ground wire, can it reach a motor mount from there? i know theres 1 on my 4.6 at the mount

That heavy of a wire might go to the alternator? The end looks like something that goes on a very specific stud/mount.

True too, but those usually have a rubber cover, no? Seems if it's that close to the PCM, it would be some sort of case ground. But it does look like it goes to a specific post.

yours looks more rounded, his looks more square with flanges that stick down.

but yes i think we can agree its a ground type wire

I think it has the flange's that stick down and flat edged. Looks like the nut is what is making it appear circular to me.

ahh yes, you are correct.

seems skwerl found the mounting point, OP is he correct?
