I got Mustang GT Dynotech Aluminum 3.5" from a sponsor of the boards. as I am trying to install the drive shaft, it is 3-4 inchs short. Now the rube joint appears to be very compressed. do I have to put it out? Help thanks

Idk anything about the rubber compressing but are you sure you got it for the correct transmission type? I also have no idea how much the shaft for a manual or auto vary but it's an idea.

Try pulling the end out, but if it wont go far enough and then some and have room to go out more, you probably got the wrong driveshaft.
There are different lengths for transmission types.
