New problem and added it to the first post!!!

Am trying to install my new wheels and tires and the factory lug nuts are too fat for the slots in my wheels. They get on and start to thread but there's no way id be able to get my wrench in there to tighten them down. What do I do?

Got a set of the thin walled lug nuts and problem 2 has come up.

The posts are too long, I am as far down as I can go tightness wise and the wheel is not as tight against the rotor as with the rear wheels. I was thinking maybe trim the lug posts down some but I'm afraid that might mess up the threads

You bought the wrong lug nuts. Of course buying crap twice is cheaper than buying quality once.

They're called "socket lugs", and they're garbage. So are the capped acorn lugs in the other pic.

Spline drive = Troubles over.

There's nothing really wrong with the factory acorns. They're just not as fancy as some of the others, and after a few times of being removed/installed, they start to look a bit beat up. They're just big and bulky.
