need help picking an emblem..pics?

for some reason ive been hating the GT emblem on the front fenders...i wish i could just shave it off but since that costs too much i want to get an emblem that covers the holes...any ideas? i was thinking of putting the ford fusion hybrid leaf emblem but it might be too small...or the powered by ford but $270 for some emblems seem a little to steep...any ideas? or pics? thanks!

I was feeling the same after I bought my car last year. Painted mine black.........changed the look completly. With you white car black emblems would look sick. The chrome just didnt do it for me. I would paint all of them black if I were you.......pony, gt's, and rear cap.

the "scott drake" powered by ford emblems are cheap looking and not nearly as nice as the ShelbyGT ones. the ShelbyGT ones are not as expensive as they use to be and i have seen a couple sets go in the 100-130 range. they have two way adhesive tape on the rear.

PPI has them for $109.99 and they went up 10 bucks, I picked up a set a couple weeks ago for $99.

They have no alignment pins, just an adhesive backing. I haven't mounted them yet, as I am still on the fence between those and the running ponies, but for the price I thought I would get a set. I was thinking that the supply would be limited, but it seems like quite a few people have been getting these since they started selling cheaper.............I wonder where they're getting them? I think at the price they are easily worth twice the cost of the Scott Drake ones.

Aren't the standard V6 fenders without any emblems? If they are I'm sure you could find a pair relatively cheap, be it from a wrecked car or through a friend at a body shop. I've considered this as well, but it's tougher to find them in a 1 year only color and painting them would offset the cost of getting the fenders I already have filled.

I did the tribar V6 pony package ones and they look terrific. Got a set off a local dealership as I didn't want to get knockoff one's that didn't sit flush, ect ect. It was $52 for both if I recall.

Absolutely. If you want the RWB stripes go with the Ford parts. The paint on the cheapies does not last long.
