DaGonz
S197 fire/rescue
Hello and thanks to the webteam for accepting me as a member of the S197 forums...
My name is Ron, aka DaGonz. I am a professional firefighter and hold the rank of Deputy Chief in my fire department. I also work per diem at the Massachusetts Fire Academy and per diem for a private ambulance company.
In addition to those three jobs, I also have an automotive detailing venture, appropo, as I am a clean car fanatic. It's a paying hobby that helps with one of my other passions... flying. I am a student pilot.
My "baby" is a tungsten gray 2006 Mustang GT who I call "Lauren Renee". That was the name my wife and I had picked out if we had a daughter.
I am a member of the Silver Mustang Registry and the Mustang Car Club of New England.
Presently, Lauren Renee has two performance modifications... a BBK cold air induction system and a custom performance tune for premium fuel from BAMA tuning via a SCT FX3 tuner. Appearance mods to date are a short antenna from Stack Racing and painted mirror covers and rear window louvers from American Muscle.
The next major modification will be a new exhaust system. I haven't decided whether it will be Corsa, Borla, Magnaflow or Flowmaster.
I am looking forward to learning and contributing to these forums!
