D. All of the above.

Seriously, what kind of a lame question is that? You provided exactly zero info about what your goals are.

Your car looks nice the way it is, imo. I'd go FI, if possible.

My ride will mostly be a DD but will visit the track 1-2/month. Track time goals is I want to go as fast as possible w/out putting a cage in my ride. If I go the built engine route I'll be putting the stock Roush tvs pulley and overdrive crank pulley and be pushing around 17psi. Then that'll leave the tranny or rear end more prone for failure. Then suspension comes into play if I can't put the power to the ground.

Guess you didn't see the mods in my sig.

I would go with suspension. its easy to do your self and important because if you cant get the power to the ground then the power is useless

seems as if you have a lot of suspension mods already.

at 17psi you'll need a cage at the track IMHO

shortblock gets my vote

Sure do but funds won't allow it. Really thinking about a Big Bore or BB Stroker. Don't know if that sort of build would be worth it for my goals for now

You HAVE to do all, or be broke down every weekend.

Power, better have a good foundation (shortblock)
Suspension...

wait, before I continue to restate the obvious, Hawgman and SD will have cussed you to tears before I submit :stooges:

i'd say shortblock (aluminator) imo for price. you can always upgrade the other stuff as you go, but no matter what you do the car is always going to find the weakest link and break it.

For what you have in mind you could easily do rods/pistons and be just fine.

If I"m gonna go through all that trouble to swap out rods and pistons might as well get a bigger motor while I'm at it.

sounds like a good plan, but i would do the brakes first, better to be able to stop then to be able to go.
