So I went to the track Sunday and made a few passes. Here's a mod list.
Cobra jet intake unported
Cj twin 65mm throttle body
Ford Cj cai
Sct (with what I think is just a base tune for the intake)
O/R x-pipe
Bmr lca's/relocation brackets
White line trans bushing
Barton two post bracket
On all weather 235/50/18's
Stock 3.31 gears
MT-82 trans
I'm know the speed is down even though I was shifting at 7200. It seems like it's running fat with the AFR's running between 11.3-11.6 every single pass (any gear). The car runs and drives fine. The cylinder head temp would get as high as 218* and the iat'a were as high as 100*. Are these normal numbers for these cars? I would have figured this car to be good for 117 or so not 110.

Definitely try to datalog a pass or at least a short pull on the street and send it to someone who can look over the log for you. I'm guessing the tune needs work.

What was the DA at the time of the run? EDIT: Looked it up, Dragtimes sez the DA was about 300-400 at 1:00 yesterday at your track. Good air.

With that manifold, you'll want to shift it at 7500-7600 if the clutch/trans will let you, otherwise it probably won't be much (if any) quicker than the factory manifold.

That's where I'm at on it. Yeah the air was about as good as it gets for my area. I can shift at 7500 from 2nd-3rd and from 3rd-4th. It slowed down when I shifted that high (which is another reason I think the tune is jacked).
