Back to the dyno today for a lil test-n-tune session. Forgot to swap my Drag Radials to my stockers. We did a few baseline runs. Car made 863/720 with sticky drag radials, down 10/20 from the week before. While on the dyno, took off the Ford Racing twin 65mm t-body and put on the Cobra Jet Monoblade. Took all of maybe 5 minutes. Only change being the T-body, jumped in and made a pass with zero tuning............ 905/741. I almost shit myself, I thought maybe 10-15 max. Rewarded with a 42 rwhp, 21 rwt gain just making the swap.

Tuned out with a toasty blower it made 914/749. So in short the Monoblade was worth 51 rwhp, 29rwt..... Not bad for $700 at this level. And yes, you can feel the difference..

That is ridiculous power, seems like once those big blowers get honking the twin TB's start being a restriction. In case anybody else is looking to upgrade AM actually has that monoblade for around $580 with their forum discounts.

I swapped the CJ65 for the SCJ mono on mine not long ago. I don't have before/after dyno results, and I'm not at the power level you are, but I think it made a reasonable difference. The biggest thing is I don't have any driveability problems with the monoblade. It drives just like it did before. Once I pulley this Whipple down I think the monoblade will really work well.

Years ago when I was running a whipple @ 16psi, I had huge gains from an Accufab (whipple) mono blade throttle body. The twin screw blower setups really respond well to this mod.

That's awesome, cool to see the 2.9 creeping up towards 1000.
Any belt issues? I launched a couple 6 ribs on my 2.9 but I have an idler slightly off center. No hood damage, I think all the 10 rib does is dent your hood when it blows. Not a fan of the half-wrap crank pulley with the 10 rib setup.

No issues yet besides a slightly frayed outside edge to the belt. I'll replace it shortly and see if it happens again. Other than that, no issues. I think the blower is about done at my boost level. It's not slipping, no reason to swap to a 10 rib...
