I posted these pics in my build thread, but wanted to share with the group as a whole. I love PlastiDip as long as its done right, and done tastefully. I think I've achieved that so far.

Here are all the things that I've PDip'd on my car so far:

Up to what temperature does plastidip play nice? I would be worried with engine heat it would bubble up. I did my rims and badges over a year ago I need to do them over again

How tedious was it to remove the unwanted pdip from the 5.0? Everything looks great as well!

I've developed a certain technique to it. I use a toothpick, and hook method, and twist. Took me years of training to develop these Ninja skills... :naughty1:

That's it lostsoul hand over you pdip crown.

LMAO! What has lostsoul done so far? Did it get out of hand? lol

I love this stuff as well. As of right now i only did my rear faux gas cap but i will be doing more later!

It's awesome stuff, thats for sure. Just imagine the total I would have been charged to have all of the above powder coated or painted flat black!

Good stuff. Easy to use and clean up. You mess up? No big deal, peel it off and start over.

Definitely digging the Paxton. I wanted a black one, but they cost more. Easy fix with the dip.

Problem with the paxton is you cant get them in black. Only Vortech does the black one. But who wants a smaller blower? So, Paxton + PDip = BOOYA!

:highfive:

Looks good. You did it the right way. I don't think you have to take the hood vents off though. I am debating on doing mine but the contrast on the white might be a little too much though.

With the vents still on I wasnt comfortable with the natural break points. There was slight contact with the hood and I didnt wanna chance it peeling on removal. Besides, they come off in 2 minutes, one nut and a few plastic clips and pop right out.

I say go for it, and if you dont like it, peeeeel it off. :highfive:
