people with hids in fogs

since i put hids in the fog i noticed that the housing has been getting burned/discolored. is this happening to anyone else?

Thats odd... I have a 10k 35w hid setup for my fogs... Maybe you have a 55w kit which may be too hot of a wattage for the housings.... I think the stock H10 fog bulbs are only 35w too... That's the only real thing I can think of.... Are your ballasts digital or analog?

I have 5k 35w HIDS in mine with no problems

Same kit in 8000k no issues. I run mine everytime I'm in the car. Day, driving lights with running lights. Nights, driving lights with low beams/high beams. I've got it setup to run driving and highs as well as lows.

Yea they probably burn too hot for the poor fogs.
