No money poker for me today lol . I haven't played any money tourneys today but had too many bad beats to try after two " freerolls " . I won't even start on the " ring games " :argh:

1: 10,000 entrants was in 30th spot with 400 left .....pegged
2: 450 entrants was in 6th with 26 left ....... pegged again

Plus playing on a laptop at work on a shifty wireless connection doesn't help .

Next week when I get home it's ass !!!! I coming get some of that cali money :popcorneat::beerdrink:

I just hit a nice pot and knocked a guy out. Jumped up to #60, with 566 left.

big events... win a hand, come back in an hour, win one, repeat... only need to win 2 or 3 hands to get in $$... patience... OR, be doing something else. Its a good little escape for me when working on car; can 'check out' for a few minutes.

Im sure I did this when I installed 2 pins in the #13 hole when rebuilding TR6060 ...:thud:http://s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14674&highlight=TR6060+rebuild

...nevermind, just remembered why I stopped playing online poker when working on car

LMAO... :roflmao:

And as far as the tourney goes... I am playing pretty tight and being patient. Only really had one bad beat so far (some yahoo goes all in w/ Q9 off, against my KK... and catches a boat on the river).

WOOHOO!!! I just doubled up with AK... 2 Ks on the flop, A on the turn for a full house. Now I'm #7 out of 290 left!

The last hour has sucked... a combination of (1) bad hole cars, (2) good hole cards/bad flops, and (3) huge blinds/antes has been brutal.

But the good news is... I'm in the money! Top 126 get paid... there are 126 left! I'm #48.

I love to play, but not online. I don't like the idea of the computer controlling shit. I've lost once in my life at real cards with pocket aces, but online it's a death hand....LOL

Does full tilt allow you to create a private room? We should start our own private room that only the members here know the password too and host our own games. Just something to think about. I wouldn't mind playing tonight.:thumb:

I like this idea. There are ways to create a private room, how I don't know.

I play on occasion on ftp for small stakes same screenname. I usually play at the local casino's here in detroit and the occasional home game.

I need to learn to read all the posts before posting myself. Shoot me a pm if you get a group to play on fri night anything after 7 eastern time and I will register on that site and play for anything between 20-50.

Last night I won the Turbo 180 man tournament ($12) for the 3rd time. Brings my 2010 winnings to over $1500. I made a goal of earning $5000 this year, so far I'm on pace.

OK... sorry about the delay, but the past couple weeks have been extremely hectic for me, but here's hoping this week will be better.

I have set up the first private poker tournament for us at Poker Stars. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 8 at 6:00pm PDT. The game is No Limit Holdem, and the buy-in is $20.

Once you log in at PokerStars, go to the "Tourney" page, then select "Private". Scroll down to May 8, and you will see: S197Forum Tourney #1. Open the tourney and click the Register button. The password is: BAD05GT. I have already registered myself (screen name "ASU_fan").

This tournament is open to all S197Forum members, as well as your family and friends. Feel free to pass this info along. The more the merrier!
