Any suggestions to straighter this boot out? It twisted while compressing/rotating the piston.

Get a new one? They're cheap and easy to replace.

Other than that...just try twisting on it?

Should I try to push the brake pedal to try and draw the piston back out some?

It is just a dust cover to keep it clean and dry. You can leave the piston side on the piston and pull the other side of the caliper, straighten it and pop it back on. Add a little grease to make it easier to put back on.

RIP - You will be missed
A little late this time, but hitting the boot with a shot of WD-40 before screwing the piston back into its bore seems to keep this from happening.

Pull the boot off the piston end, untwist it, and roll it back on the piston. You will most likely have to use a pick, or a dentist tool to get it off the piston.
