Decided Saturday to reinstall my factory cams. Install went smooth as could be but now I've been getting all kinds of CEL codes. I used the timing wedge and marked the phasers to make sure the chains stayed in place. Everything has been reconnected.

Mods are JLT CAI II, Steeda CMDP, and off-road x-pipe. Had Bama send me a tune because of my free tunes for life deal from when I used Doug years back.

A few minutes after starting the car with the new tune loaded and cams swapped, P2196 (O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1)) showed up. That one cleared itself out and P0401 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) flow, insuffcient flow detected) showed up.

I reloaded the tune and P2196 came up again. Cleared itself out once more and now P0301 (misfire cylinder 1) has shown up. I did notice a slight stumble here-and-there between 4-4.5k when WOT; only happened a few times.

Car doesn't really seem down on power. I removed the spark plug from cylinder 1 and this is what it looks like. Plugs have 30-35k on them. I don't remember it looking this bad when I swapped the cams Saturday.

Any input? Thank you.

Do you have any codes with the old tune? Pull the covers and take a look. Check all the sparkplug and injectors connectors and make sure they are tight and none are pinched. Also make sure the cops are seated good and all those connectors are good.

Did you break any locking tabs on the injector or COP connections? I had an almost-broken locking tab on an injector and it caused that injector not to fire all the time with random misfires and throwing codes. Fixed it with a zip tie to hold the connection tight.

No codes with the old tune for the cams. Makes me wonder if it is from the install. :/

I'll pull all the COPs and reseat them to see if that helps any. Everything looked snug connection wise. How does that spark plug look to you?

I plan to pull the valve covers this week to make sure everything still looks good.

Actually, I did notice while I was disconnecting everything that on cylinder 2 the injector's connector locking tab was gone. Can't recall when that happened. Good idea. I'll give that a try too.

Just contacted Bama to confirm the tune. They tuned it for the JLT III series intake...they're sending me an updated one.
