Seems like clean S197s are holding their values pretty well, especially the GTs Bosses, and Cobras. I checked the value of my ‘13 GT Premium a couple of years ago and found in in the mid teens. Now when I check, cars like mine seem to be in the mid 20s. Could they actually be appreciating???

Clean 5.0s have definitely held their value for the last few years. '13-'14 GT500s even more so.
The 3V cars, not so much which is why I kept mine. It's just not worth selling.

Think it’s helping the late s197/ gen 1s is that you’re saddled with the 5.0 and have the SRA vs IRS. And its often heard that the 11-14 look like muscle cars vs s550 which has some euro touches. Not everyone wants that. I think the early s197 / 3V will start to appreciate in next couple years if they’re low mileage and/ special editions. As we’re seeing now with the some of the new edges (non cobras).

Agreed on not selling due to the values. 07 Shelby GT with 20k and it says it’s worth like 17k. The sticker I think was like 36k

Covid has boosted the used car market in the last 6 months. I've seen estimates anywhere from 20-30%

Real market value isnt holding. 11-14 stock and low miles private sale is 12-15k, boltons 15-18k, trade in value is terrible.

Bought my 08 Bullitt new in May of 08, worth pennies on the dollar, it would kill me to have to sell it!

I have a 2006 Stage 1 with 114k miles. Got a guy that wants to buy it for $10k. I love this car to death and need some advice on what you guys think.

From what I've seen around where I am, that's pretty good money for a 3V with some miles on it. I'm not sure what the Roush kit adds to resale value but guessing it's not much.
The thing you have to ask yourself is what would you replace it with? There isn't much out there that will offer the driving experience of a V8 Mustang for $10k. If you've been looking to upgrade to a newer and/or higher end car or just need the money for something else, this could be your chance. If you're going to take that $10k and try to "do better", I think you're in for a challenge.

If you’re looking to upgrade platforms 10k is a fair price if not, I’d say keep it. You have a cool car with the roush package. You can get base coupe s197 with around the same mileage for low, low teens. If you have your stock parts, I’d re-install before selling.
