...does anyone have a workable solution to the chunky cable connection - am seriously not impressed of having it near my left foot, interfering with the clutch.

Also need some guidance if to buy a AF sensor for the LW or mounting it in the dash instead.

Appreciate all guidance, thanks in advance!

Not sure if you've seen this, but VMP Tuning made a right angle OBDII cable. I haven't looked at the way the OBDII port is secured in the vehicle, but I'm sure it could be detached and zip tied behind the plastic trim.

You can find it here.

If I thought that could be adapted to the XCal2 and it wasn't 40freakin dollars I would buy one.

Doc - You can get a 90* OBD extension cable for like $15.

The straight plug is probably SCT's dumbest thing on the Livewire, no way I could drive full time with one plugged in.

Yes OBD2Cables.com is who I would have recommended, they are indeed a reputable company.

...thanks guys!

Still feels a bit chunky, though the 90 degree connection would be interesting if it goes to the left instead of right.... (well, cant have it all...)

Guess I just have remove the dash and see if I can relocate it, if I decide to use the LiveWire for monitoring the daily drive - would have saved a few bucks sticking to the Xcal2 instead!

Does the Livewire have a power on/off switch?
if so.. i'd undo the OBD Port from under the dash.. plug the Livewire to it permanently and tuck everything behind the dash.

Just like mentioned above, I removed the port from where it was mounted and zip tied it up out of the way. MUCH better!
