Looking for a bit of help to fine tune the suspension set up on my car. I read, with great interest the stick here on AS/IC. I went to the track sunday and put the 125 HP jets in the nitrous Kit and ran a 11.760 @ 114 with a 1.68 short time. The car danced around on the starting line a bit and I am pretty sure the rear suspension bottomed out, so I took a pound of air out and then ran an 11.694 @ 115 and had a 1.73 short time. The DA on the first run was 720 and the second was 1255 so I don't think that was a factor. This is what my first run looked like...
Here is what my set up is at the moment.
-Metco Upper control arm mount (Lower hole)
-SR performance upper and lower control arms
-Front sway bar removed
-Poly rear sway bar bushings
-Tires are 28.5 X10.5
-the rest of the suspension is stock!
I might add I have a tci 3000 stall converter and 4.10 gears and leave somewhere in the 2000 rpm range.
