My Brenspeed B-326 will be going in over the late Fall/Winter and I'm thinking of changing the GT side emblems to either...

326
Stroker

or

5.3
Stroker

I know we all have our own personal tastes, likes and dislikes, but I'd sure would appreciate your input and comments here. At this point, I guess i'm personally wrestling with showing cubic inches on a S197 ..!! :helpme:

Why not leave it as is and have a sleeper? No need to announce to the world what you have...

I like the idea of having 326 or B326 on the side. I just put the 281 High Performance emblems on my fenders.

RIP - You will be missed
Agree with the sleeper line of thought completely. Even with you already having FI, there's no need to tip your whole hand.

It's way better to let people underestimate what you've got than it is to lead them to expect too much.

I would say my car was a sleeper, but the cams, open exhaust, and DRs probably make me look and sound faster than I actually am.

Here's a close up of my ponies

back on topic... sleeper for sure and if not just delete the emblems all together.... shave them and be different than everyone else....

I'm fond of the 'no emblems' look. Although if I were going to use emblems I would get the retro '68 GT emblems, or possibly the old 289 V8 emblems like my mom had on her 65 Mustang.

I struggled with this too and eventually just put a set of Powered by Ford emblems on - same ones that are on the SGT's. Not very original but better than the "GT"

If you are leaning towards the PBF emblems, you would be better off getting a billet set from Billet badges as the originals are plastic.

I removed my PBF badges and replaced them with a billet GT set I had painted when my bumper was getting done.

Ebay - they're not cheap but after a paint job, forged stroker build, six speed, clutch, Whipple, suspension, 10-rib, wheels, tires, brakes, stereo, etc - what's another $200 bucks? lol

Exactly... Besides you can't take it with you .... Might as well enjoy it...
