Sony app radio?

Does or has anyone ever used or bought this unit



It is a new double in unit that you phone syncs with and all your apps are on the screen. Not sure of a model number.... Just something someone mentioned to me...... Wanted to get some feedback or info?

I don't think Sony makes one. Pioneer does and they have a couple different models.

I just bought one for my wife's edge, should be here Wednesday.

Pioneer App Radio (now there is a version 2). It only works off your phone so you gotta like plug it in everytime so shit can work. I tried it out in another car (App Radio 2) and did not like it for the following reasons:

-No Sat Radio
-No Sat Nav (only works off phone, so if phone has poor reception you are screwed)
-Glitchy

Pros
-Nice UI
-Cool Features
-Cleanest looking HU on the market.

Not really worried about the sat radio. Pandora works everywhere as long as I have signal.

I head the pioneer was a little glitchy...


How is the sound qualility with using aftermarket amps and speakers.

The radio is called mirror link. Kinda cool theory.
