For those of you who are planning on changing your front struts or springs and order new one time use only bolts/nuts. Be advised that the strut-to-spindle bolts and nuts part numbers have changed. Do not go by the Ford service manual. After having some problems of my own getting the correct parts I found the following on another Mustang site...

There was a thread a while back about a broken spindle and it was said that it most likely came from the strut-to-spindle bolts loosening. This had been confirmed by another source as well. Another source that I talked to (a local racing team that runs the FR500C and FR500S Mustangs) said that they had been advised by Ford to upgrade to these as well to ensure no issues.

Here are the upgraded part numbers:
W714652-S439 (bolts) & W714653-S900 (nuts)

The old part numbers:
W709870-S439 (bolts) & W711091-S900 (nuts)

yep, when I put my suspension package on I went with those. I think they were listed in my Maximum Motorsports instructions or somewhere...? maybe n the Roush stuff.

They have fine instead of course threads.

They're pricey though... (At least I thought so the day I bought them!)
