Texas Mile anyone?

I just wanted to see if anybody was planning on going to the mile this year. Ill be there although I'm suffering a huge loss to my pit crew with my twin daughters not being able to go this time. I'm so thankful I got custody of them just sucks the way the weekends roll out and there mom gets them.

I hope you guys had a safe weekend ...

I was at the 'Mile' Friday,, We had a minor family emergency so we hit the road Friday after they closed the course.

My best run was 167.2 ... The front of the car was lifting badly (the wind wasn't helping) and I was all over the place on the big end ... I had planned on taping off the nose to get more aerodynamic ,,, I'll work on that for the winter ...

And I need better tires,, After I loaded the car I saw I had ripped a nasty gouge in the left rear from spinning down the course ...

I got out there yesterday from Virginia and managed two runs. Best run was in 5th doing 154mph. I saw you there Darkstar but never got to say hi.

I just managed a 159.1 but i clipped my 5th gear limiter literally a split second before the traps. I have to watch the vbox data and see how fast it went before it kicked down
