My Saleen has an offset red stripe on it. I used MS Paint to edit this pic of one I found on the internets. What do you guys think of the green stripe?

Looks like you have your answer. 8 out of 8 Mustang owners think that is a bad idea.

I know bright color accents are the thing now, just don't know how I feel about them on the 05-09 styles.

Trust me I'm dying to plastidip my wheels and front splitter some funky color, although reversible just don't know if my time will be worth it.

If you are looking to get it to stand-out that will do it.

If you like it then go with it but as you have read not many of this group like the bright color.

Maybe if you could simply get it done with tape and then see how you like it.

I don't think if it were me I would do it in permanent paint until I was sure I wanted it long term.

It's Plasti-dip so I can peel it off. [emoji3].

Then that being the case I say give it a try and see how you like it.
As long as you can simply peel it back off if you decide it's to bright.

Personally, speaking for myself, why not give it a try.

It's your Mustang so your the only one that really counts.

Very true. It would definitely be bright

If you decide to give it a try then post what it turns out to be on this thread.
You know a few large pics of it from like the front, showing the top & rear pic.
I'll be interested in seeing the final results.

For what it's worth keep something in mind.
What's right for one of us may not be right for another.
That's why there are all different color Mustangs produced.
It would be a very boring world if everyone of us had exactly the same color Mustang or the exact same anything on our Mustangs.

theres a painters tape thats made in that color, try it with that first. but personally, i dont think your car is the proper color to pull off that green. theyre too close together that they dont look good together. think of hittting two keys next to each other on a piano. if your car was black it would definitely work.
