Thanks. This material responds very well to heat. By just using a blow dryer i was able to easily shape the vinyl to how i needed it. I tucked the vinyl into the vent register seams and rolled the edges to make it look cleaner.

Looks like this will be my next project.

I've played with this carbon fiber vinyl on my motorcycle before but not my car! All of your cars look great! But how does it hold up in the heat? Here in OK it's been crazy hot and my cars interior even hotter. I love the CF look and really really wanna do this!

Oh and also I have never taken any of my interior apart... Are those panels pretty easy to get off?

Here in NJ we've had a couple of days where it was almost in the 100s. My interior held up fine. If you wrap the pieces correctly, you wont have any problems. As far as taking the dash panels out, it may seem intimidating, but its not bad, just tedious. Here is a write-up i found very helpful when i did mine. Good luck!

I looked on eBay and typed in "3m di-noc" and got a few hits. I ordered a 12"x48" sheet and that would've been enough if I hadn't messed up a few pieces. If this is your first time I would probably order 2 sheets. I learned the hard way and had to wait an extra week to get more material to finish my dash. Costs about $20 so its pretty cheap.

Yeah I've used this stuff before! And I am totally going to do this mod! It's just intimidating thinking about taking the dash apart!
