tire presure sensor fault

so im driving home from my local car club meet and out of no were the tire presure senser light began to blink rapidly and the dash said tire pressure sensor fault! any idea as to what may have happened...is this covered under factory warranty?

It might be .... But try to take to a tire shop and get the system reset. You got any discount tires near you .. They will check it out for free and if you do have a bad sensor they can tell you which one it is .

ok if i take it to the dealer will they know exactly wich one it is?

Ya they should have a tool to read each sensor.. I work at discount tire and we have a couple of the tools .

I gotta ask, because you didn't mention it. Did you check the air in your tires?

If the air is low the light will stay solid . When the light is blinking there is either something wring with one if the sensors it self or the computer the sensors send their signal to .. I highly doubt that it's just a low tire

Wat he said... I just went outside and started the car a few times and the light is gone I guess ill just keep am eye on it
