Last time I was at the track was a few weeks ago at MIR. Lot of track nuts here so I thought I would post it here as well. Enjoying the site so far. Car goes to Powerhouse tomorrow to up the power and push the limits of the built block and stock tranny (do have a reworked stall and PA pan on it, but other than that stock). Plan is to break this transmission and then build it up.
Thanks to Buckman for turning me on to this site!
Details as follows:
My family and I went out to MIR about a week ago. I got up at 6am and looked at the weather and they were calling for 98 degree with 40% humidity so I was having second thoughts on going. But that changed when my 3 year old Marios was running through house saying "we racing cars today!!!!". Had to go at that point.
Looking at the track info, it was it was 95 degrees with 38% humidity. However, I am pleased with how the car ran. I like this track more than Mason Dixon, they run a real test and tune and let you hot lap. No holding up the staging lanes and doing the odd/even number crap.
No record breakers, but I now have the car dialed in....I was getting 13lbs of boost today....

Second pass:
Third pass:
Last pass:
Tomorrow, I am going to Powerhouse to have Mike take the car to the next level. Hopefully we can get it all tuned up and ready for Norwalk. Also, note to self to listen to Mike. My previous runs at Mason Dixon were on 18psi on my MT ET streets. He said to drop them down to 15psi and I should see my 60fts drop.
He was right.
Here are some pics my wife took...
