Tranny or rear end whines on deceleration

Fixed my engine temp sensor and overheating issues today and drove my car for the first time for more than a mile since the build. Rear end is stock with a girdle, tranny is a promotion 3650, spec stage 3 w/ aluminum fidanza fw, and a steel axle exchange ds. something in the drive line whines on deceleration and if I push in the clutch it stops. Any guesses out there as to my troubles?

doubt it's the rear end. Most likely the trans

is it a new flywheel/clutch? if so, you will get some noise until they break in, it should go away
