What do you pay for nitrous?

I'm going to get both bottles filled at a place kinda local to me, and I'm wondering what the going rate is for nitrous/lb.

Unfortunately there is only 1 place to get it around here. It sucks. I pay $4.50 per/lb. I had thought about buying a filling station and filling mine and other people's bottles, but I'll be going FI this winter.

sadly from what i have heard, its ~8 euros a lb here in Germany, have not found a place that will fill my bottle yet, it a dot1800 not an EU 'pi' bottle, and its the same damn bottle! now i am trying to get a 50l mother bottle to fill from.

I had my bottle filled at the one place that I know of, $78 cad. Like $65 usd on a bad day.

This is why I had to sell my nitrous set up off my '68... To have any fun, I was filling that bottle 2-3 times a month, $100+/mo adds up tooooo damn fast. easily a payment on FI, so I dumped it...

Last fall I believe I paid about $85 to fill both bottles neither of which were totally empty. So, $4-5/lb is what I'm thinking.

That's insane. How many tickets did you get in that time ?

If you are going to use it that much then it just makes sense to buy a filling station and charge other people to fill their bottles that way you can support your habit for free.

Haha no tickets, but I got close.

We have a bottle filler at the shop, but even still it was pricy. I was addicted lol
