I have hot rods and 4.10s. Love em. Still a little chug if idling along with no throttle. But I know it could be tuned out. I've driven another car with hot rods and 3.73s and it had no lurch at all. Brenspeed tuned for me, just haven't bothered them for a retune.
Have the Rev limiter set for 7k rpms. Using a wotbox with 2.5k launch on sumitomo htr3, 1.9 60ft and 13.2 in the quarter mile. I shift at 7k but with 4.10s need to shift into 4th right at the finish line. A bit taller tire I could save a shift.
