About to yank the factory H pipe off and run and have the bung welded on for the wideband. I know that you are supposed to put them from 9 oclock to 3 oclock but the way the h pipe is in there, it's pretty much impossible. So here are my choices.

You want it in the PS pipe either way you do it. Passenger side is last to get fuel and therefore the leanest potential.

Well the passenger side is the last pic and it's pointing at the starter BUT the instructions say moisture can get in it on the bottom parts of the pipe and that kinda is. BUT my thing is will it be that bad that close to the header and because the pipe is pointing down? I could see it if the pipe is parallel with the ground and water can settle but with this pipe being on a downslope and that close to the exhaust ports I don't if it will be as bad. Would love to see where guys put em on their h pipes.

Doesn't have to be in the 3 or 9 position if you are mounting it where it is pictured. You only have to do that with pipes that are horizontal.

For good or ill mine's in the driver's side on top of the pipe, almost where the factory one is on the other side.

Whatever you do don't let the angle be pointing downward. Condensation will drip into the sensor due to gravity and can ruin the sensor.

That is not always the case, normally the driver's side is the hottest/leanest, is a distribution issue and is always an average of so many things that in the end both sides work well.

You really want it pre-cat.

Not necessarily.

VMP tells me you can install em post cat. The 1st 200 rpm is ignored on any dyno run etc. Any o2 will be gone my then.
