I am trying to make a list of upgrades and I am thinking about some pypes long tubes and off road h pipe but with the saleen mufflers I am not sure if it will be to loud. So if anyone has heard this setup please chime in.

the saleen mufflers are chambered correct? usually you can get away with a l/t and o/r setup a lot easier with a chambered muffler. and if its too loud, throw in a set of resonators

It depends on what you call loud. My buddy has chambered flowmasters with L/Ts and an off road mid pipe and I love the sound. Its loud and aggressive but not obnoxious.

LT's catted X and Flowmaster. Compared to just about every other car I see on the road each day, of course it's loud. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have the full JBA setup with L/T's and off road h pipe. It's not obnoxiously loud, it sounds good, and will set off just about any alarm i want it to.

Well I had an 03gt that I had an off road x pipe on with 40 series flowmasters that dumped under the car. I wouldn't think it would be any louder than that

My Saleen with a Magnaflow catted X is not nearly as loud as the 07 GT with the same mid pipe and Flowmasers AT's!

I believe the Saleen muffs are NOT chambered.

In terms of normal driving, I doubt it would be obscenely loud. I'd be more concerned about cold starts depending on where I lived. SLP's and LT were fine during normal driving. Cold starts felt like I was starting a jet.

Now if you are treating your freeways like they are Daytona, then you might have some noise issues.

depends what you consider loud. If the stock GT exhaust is "aggressive" to you, then yes.
To me, LT's with straight pipes is just about right lol so its relative.

IMHO, LT's with a catted H will give you the sweet spot between sound quality, performance and loudness...
