Will it fit?!

My friend and i were having a little disagreement. We were talking about the new 5.0 and i mentioned to him that i believe the new 5.0 block should be able to fit in the 05-09 cars. However, he thinks otherwise and is telling me it will not fit.

what do you guys think?

based on no facts at all.... I have to think the new 5.0 is no bigger then the 5.4 4V so it would fit, however, IMHO not worth the costs involved to make a swap. better to do a 5.4 swap IMHO.

Considering the 2010 has our same 3v and the 11 is the same as a 10 just with a 5.0 id say yes it would fit.

Yes, from the facts that I've read and spoke with Ford Racing about. Yes, it'll fit in the 05-09 body style. They are also making a kit to adapt it into the old fox bodies.

Yes it will . You will need a trans also,and wiring harness,pcm. It could get costly unless you find a junkyard special.
