You are preaching to the choir. I already said that we researched both units. We did it both times we purchased a dyno. We had a Mustang dyno for our first dyno but we explored our options and talked extensively to both companies before making our second dyno purchase. Rick has used both inertia and load capable DynoJet dynoes to tune. His choice was a load capable Mustang dyno.

The results you get from the dyno you use to get your vehicle tuned are what they are on any given day on that specific dyno. You can't compare them to any other dyno and your main concern should be the quality of the tune you got and not the dyno #s.

My car wasn't tuned on a dynojet or a mustang, but rather a superflow 845 dyno. Supposedly it reads "quite a bit" lower than a dyno jet.

This is so true, and also typically ignored.

If they've had the same vehicle on both, or similarly modded vehicles, then they'll know the truth. Other than that we're all throwing in our personal conjecture.

We have done this on a few of the dynos in our area. The average difference has been around 15%. On turbo cars we have seen as much as 18% . Hope this helps
