I'd like to thank Lethal, DKS, NastyStang113, and Seer for introducing me to an AWESOME product, BlackFire WetDiamond w/Polycharger Sealant.

This stuff is amazing and EXTREMELY easy on easy off. Gorgeous sheen too.

I suck at taking pics even with my DSLR but here are some I took today after 2 coats, 24hrs apart using BFWD! The slickness is absolutely amazing. The MF towel literally slides over the top of the paint like it isn't even touching the car. Effortless!!!!!

Quick question: Can you top a glaze (Poor Boy's Black Hole) with BFWD? I assume so as an LSP, but want to make sure.

Not really. Sealants typically need a bare surface to bond to for maximum protection.

Hmmm, I guess i was under the assumption it worked similar to like using and AIO (Klasse for example). But then again, an AIO is not a Glaze and I probably should not have assumed. Anyways, thanks Seer.

The BFWD is sooooooo incredibly easy to use it makes spiffing up the car a breeze!:thumb:

How in the hell do you keep that shop that clean? you must have a hell of a storage shed to keep tools, parts, junk, etc. in. All you do is polish on that car in there, huh. lol

You can use it with BFWD over it, but youre gonna lose a lot of durability. Sealants need a bare surface to bond, now there are some glazes that work well with sealants but very few. Now a Carnauba directly over a glaze is a perfect match.

Even that one link from autopia shows, they mistook it for the midnight sun carnauba. Personally I wouldnt put a sealant over a glaze.

The reason why you had success using Klasse AIO over the blackhole was this: Klasse AIO has cleaners in it, you basically removed your application of Poorboys Blackhole when you applied Klasse AIO.

No No, I meant, Klasse AIO and then Klasse Seleant. I guess I was thinking that Black Hole would work similar to Klasse AIO so I could combo Black Hole with BFWD. But as I said, I should not have assumed a glaze is similar to an AIO. :thumb:

Klasse AIO is an acrylic filler, cleaner, and sealant
Klasse sealant is formulated to work with AIO

Basically every AIO on the market does the following:

Cleans, Fills and Seals.

So did you do yours by hand? If so did you use the yellow foam pad to apply?

Yep, by hand. I use the terry pads to apply the BFWD. :thumb:

There has been a great debate for sometime on whether or not a glaze will diminish the durability of a sealant. PB Black Hole, for example, is completely compatible with the Poorboy sealants. From testing I have seen/done, topping Black Hole with the Blackfire Sealant probably would make an unnoticeable difference. Weather conditions would probably play a bigger role in the sealant's durability more so than the glaze.

They're close, but some AIO's besides Klasse's have some cut to them for correction. Optimum's Poli-Seal, Meguiar's D151, XMT 360, are all AIO's that have some level of cut to them. Glazes are primarily fillers, although some can have cleaners in them as well. Black Hole is also probably the better smelling Glaze out there.
