Thanks for the link!
I had located a similar piece on EBay earlier today that looks identical to this LMR part & the seller wanted 399.95 + tax for it. Had to stop shopping for a while due to hot water heater going out (leaking).........keep forgetting about LMR.........have an active account there.

I'm good w\ a non-OEM replica as long as the quality is good...........finding\acquiring an authentic 08-09 OEM piece is gonna be a very, very hard thus expensive proposition due to these cars limited availability & status..........have checked the few dealerships I have access to & all are discontinued\have no inventory so a replica was in the cards..........the look is what is important for me & since I hardly ever use the fog lights on my GT, the 08-09 Bullitt upper grille is right up my alley (really gives the '68 GT fastback vibes to the front end........especially w\ the chrome accent trim around the outer edges.......).

My '09 GT Glass Roof is already a hodge-podge of 07-14 S197 goodness ('09 GT Premium w\ Glass Roof option, 07-14 GT500 suspension\07-09 GT500 brakes\07-09 GT500 18" x 9.5" wheels\13-14 GT500 clutch MS, 08-09 Bullitt springs\08-09 Bullitt CAI, 12-13 Boss 302 brake lines, 12-13 Boss 302 front\rear sway bars, FR Boss 302R\FR500S adj panhard bar & FR Boss 302R\FR500S 5/16" SS solid clutch line) so a Bullitt upper grille is right at home.

Most likely gonna get this 1 from LMR................

Thanks again!

Let me know how the quality is! Pics look nice, especially for the price
No problem. Will post pictures of the grille out of the box & post install.

1 item I noted w\ this grille (same for the OEM original as well........this is a replica.....) is that a lot of the honeycomb on the L\R sides where the fog lights were located is blocked off so only the center section of grille is open to airflow........may not mean much as this would be following a std design pattern of the OEM Ford S197 upper grilles (fog lights would also block airflow thru the grille as well.......) but could be a future design modification (use a Dremel w\ arbor & open up these sections of blocked off honeycomb) if the need arises for more airflow thru this grille but I think this won't be necessary since this grille is also being used in tandem w\ the actual 08-09 Bullitt CAI designed to function w\ it in place.......heck, might even enhance\improve air loading (think air velocity here.....) into the "sealed" CAI housing (think improved ram air properties..........) to further improve engine available HP\TQ output at higher RPMs.......

So, I may be installing a piece primarily due to looks that may turn out to be more than this...........will definitely run some data logs post install to test for improved engine breathing at higher RPM's\improved engine cooling performance as well to then see if some more available HP\TQ output is there.

Was curious on that aspect of the Bullitt grille too.

Though with my own experience, getting air in isn’t a real issue with these cars, but rather getting air out.

getting air in isn’t a real issue with these cars, but rather getting air out.
In general, yes.........but where the air entry to CAI is actually coming from (think cooler vs warmer), the approach to the CAI entrance (is it located in front of\top of the radiator core support where the air is usually denser.......) vs back side\engine side of radiator core support (where under hood heated air is more prone to mix w\ any outside air prior CAI entry due to reverse air deltaP........) & the resulting air pressure deltaP is higher (needs to be present to speed up air charge rate thus velocity) vs air pressure at CAI entry (thus the ram air effect......) will determine the final airflow potential into the engine..........THEN the rest is figuring how to effectively get it all out of the cylinders after combustion (where the exhaust has the far & away most influence on this whole aspect than the intake tract does) .......

The Ford engineers have already done the design for the intake tract side (my whole intake\induction side is wholly Ford designed\engineered from the air filter to the exhaust valve........I have the article insert of the lead Ford SVT engineer that was involved w\ the 08-09 Bullitt's development on why the Bullitt CAI was designed\developed the way it was.......) ..........just need to finish the exhaust side optimization (EPA-cert high flow cat install.....) then ensure the VCT is optimally set up to fully match the engine's pumping capacity to this optimum airmass thruput across the full RPM operating range thru my FR Hot Rod cam's profile.........depending on what\how 1 wants the car to perform according to the intended usage.........

Now I'll get to see how much influence this Bullitt replica grille has on all of this as I have tons of data thru the existing grille design...........somehow, I don't envision this part becoming a restriction.........especially since the back end of the DS fog light assembly is now not there in the front side core support airflow path to the CAI entrance at top of the DS rad core support............
