Can anyone run a carfax for me?

3D7KU28D93G754939 IF there's any problem posting or PM'ing it to me. I know it has a salvage title from a hit earlier in the year. I saw that damage. The question is: was the title clean before that? THX again...

Help me choose a suspension setup

47, thanks for the feedback on bumpstop. Tell me the purpose of the relo brackets. Were the stops missing the frame after you cut them short? And was that a custom piece you made? I’m not wading into anything else here. My rails are one of my favorite accessories. Just because it makes service...

Help me choose a suspension setup

47, Can you tell me how your handled your rear bump stops with that setup? I have the FRPP units with the tops cut off. But wanted to see how others were handling that. It seems you have probably experimented and thought it through. Thx

    Lifting at high speed

Penta. Thanks for the info on the GT500 rear spoiler. I have struggled to find hard numbers on ANY aero add-ons for the S197. I'd appreciate any other info you had. My understanding is the lift imbalance front to rear is significant. And that the front is the real problem. Addressing the back...

    Lifting at high speed

Yeah, this is pretty well played out. As the dudes already nailed it. The S197 has front end lift. Its the front, much more so than the back. Those little rear spoilers, BTW, don't do anything. It takes a real wing in clean air to fix the rear lift. But back to the issue of the front...

Managing or tuning out - "Rev-Hang"

I sent a datalog to them earlier this week so they could see what was happening. It seems to be with their Lead Tuner at the moment. They are a busy group, and this is an old car, so I can't see them rushing right on it. But they seemed pretty confident they could fix it. And I'll just keep...

Managing or tuning out - "Rev-Hang"

Had a nice chat with Steeda today. I sent them a data file with some throttle chops and 3k, 4K, and 5k RPM. I told them I wanted it to engine brake like a carbureted motor. And they seem to think they could accomplish that. Will keep you all posted. :-)

Managing or tuning out - "Rev-Hang"

So just pulled the car out of storage, getting it ready for this season. Driving it around I am remembering all this things I was supposed to fix over the winter. The most annoying being the fact that it holds onto revs when I take my foot off the throttle. I mean REALLY holds onto revs...

    Jacking rails part 2

Real Riv tool should look like this. Anything else is going to suck. Once you buy one, you'll find all sorts of fun stuff to do with it. And it's really the only way to do Jeep fenders, which require about a million of the stupid things...

OK. You win. An LS swap with its huge knowledge base is one thing. But the electronic sorcery that must have been involved with that V10 swap.... I am speechless. How did the chassis handle it? Stockish inside? Tube framed? I kept asking the dude with the LS swapped unit (he did the 6...

OK, good to know my driving doesn't suck that bad. As that is where I land with respect to more "common" track day cars. The M BMWs are usually very close in my group. The E9xs are usually off the back (although as a previous 330ci owner, they can handle VERY well), the F3x can run hard if they...

So, the question then becomes.... Do we start to get into weird scrub radii issues as we shove the center of the wheel further away from its original location?
