1998 and up Explorer's and Mountaineer's also use this same SOHC 4.0. So do the Ranger's and the Mazda B4000. There are a lot more Exp's and the like than Mustang's, so your engine looking days shouldn't be too hard. There are numerous companies who have long blocks for this application, and...
That is what they say. I've seen it both ways. You can plug them in and they will usually work with some degree of correctness. All won't though. I do know that you can't use a Shaker 1000 set up and have the bass work correctly.
I have an 07 and had to switch up to the Job 2 head unit to...
This is really an old thread. I'll give you some information that may help you out.
The kit number for the SYNC add on unit is 9R3Z-14D212-A. You can find it on eBay from one particular seller, who has it for 63.99. He has sold over 100 of them. I've bought 3 myself and installed them on...
This is what they look like
on my 07 black Mustang. It needs a bath in the picture, but it's been sitting all winter. I think it was worth the money. I think they look great on a black 05-09.
Don't you have a 10 pin clockspring in your car? We only have a 5 pin in our 05-09s. That was my question on fitting. They are two totally different clocksprings.
Is the base wheel any different for 2012 than your old 05 wheel? What is different? I see in Venon's picture that it looks just like the 07 take off from my car.
How are you going to trade a single row switch with a double row switch? It can't be done. It doeen't fit the mount. 2011 have the double rows - 2005-09 have the single row. How is it done? The plugs are different between 05's up and the 2010 up. I just relooked at his picture, I've not...
I didn't think you were. I just didn't want someone with no wiring savvy to try and do it, and get all upset that it wouldn't plug together. Love your avatar by the way.
Shifter arrived today, not the 29th as USPS said. It caught the air shipment and it's here early. Very nice shape. Thank you for the quick shipping and assistance. Great seller.
That is what I am saying. It isn't a direct replacement as another said. You do have to modify or switch the wiring and some of the guys don't like doing wiring, so I was pointing out the problem they might have.
Not a direct replacement. This strg wheel has the 10 pin clockspring, where the 06 uses the 5 pin clockspring plug. You would have to change the wiring plug to the 05-09 style or change out the harness from the 11 to the 06 steering wheels. Otherwise, they do bolt down the exact same spot and...
