HaHa! Ortho is good work.
Now my rant:
You'll find that FP and Internal Medical doctors have diametrically different ways of doing things - in medical residency you'll see this more. Family Practitioners, to their credit, have a diverse set of skills - however they're adept at handling "healthy" people and simple diagnostics. Internal Medicine physicians deal with sick and complicated patients.
Think of it this way - Family Practitioners are like Jiffy Lube. A Internal Medicine physician is like a seasoned auto mechanic. Sure, Jiffy Lube, will top off your fluids, offer you coffee and give you a free air freshener ... but, when your car really needs help you need to go to a proper mechanic.
I'm an Internal Medicine physician BTW.
Good luck!
