Auto to Manual

Has anyone out there swapped an automatic transmission to a manual ? Car is a 2005 GT, what are the fine details for this project, is it worth it? Thanks for any info... Bob

Overdrive Lockout Button

I am trying to find out what specifically happens inside the transmission / torque converter. What functions happen inside the transmission when the OD lockout button is ON. Thanks again, Bob

Hi, Can anyone tell me what happens in the transmission (5R55S) when you set the o/d lockout to ON. I have lapped my car several times, always with the o/d lockout on, it has always worked fine, new fluid / filter / oil temp gauge, not being too hard on the transmission. The last time out...

PS Air Bag Thanks Dave, You are correct. FACT: The air bag will not deploy with no or only a wee bit of weight on the seat. Just leaving the bladder hooked up on the floor, the air bag is deactivated, it will never go off. This is a problem if you want to switch seats and keep the air bag...
