    Actually looks like maybe the OP does have upgraded idler plate, but just doesn't have the extra pulley on it? Looks like the hole is there where it would go. It does look like the newer version of the kit. It takes some legwork to get it done, but it could be upgraded to the extreme...

    What have you done to your mustang today?

    I'm also installing a Magnum XL with an RXT and the lightened steel flywheel. I came up with 3 3/16" from the mounting face to fingers giving me 1/2" preload. I am also planning to tentatively use a 1/2" spacer to put me around 1" total. So basically the same measurements as you. I'm worried...

    Don't mean to hijack the thread, but it's related... I'm installing the 13/14 GT500 master cylinder with 05-09 slave, and 6932-07 McLeod RXT. Since the 13/14 GT500 master is a larger bore that moves more fluid, and supposedly extends the slave an extra 1/4"... should there be more slave...

    Jacking rails part 2

    I had this same issue on my early '05 V6. Threaded inserts on the passenger side but none on the driver side. Emailed Steeda about it more than once and never did get a response. My late '05 GT had both sides. Post part numbers or a link for the rivet nuts you use if they work out!

    Steeda's New S197 Jacking Rails - Now Available (Bolt-in Design)

    Anybody found that the threaded inserts are missing from their car? Mine are there on the passenger side, but the driver side are empty holes. 2005 model, build date was October 2004. Looking for a part number or replacement.
