is this really a problem?????
i have a supercharger on a 06 v6 vehicle for a few years now. it has a custom tune on vehicle and has been running just fine.
i just put on a new ram air hood and have been seeing a differnt a/f reading on my guage... at highway speeds.... it is...
if you take a 4.0 l v6 and you supercharger and tuned the engine and then add a ram air hood would you see a differnt in the a/f ratio from forces air into the filter?

at what temp do you need a oil cooler"?

driveshaft
a stock driveshaft weight in at about 46 pounds. a 4 inch al driveshaft is 14 pounds.... stock driveshaft are only rated to 115 mph...... i have a 2006 v6 supercharger vehicle and saw some improvement in the al driveshaft with no problems..... just my ideals

did not work well
i did the same thing one sending for the engine and one for the heat exhanger... the problem was that the guage would read the 210 temp of the engine but the temp on the heat exchanger was alway a little above 100 degress.... i replaced the auto meter guage with a cyberdyne...
ok i have one installed..... it is alight show but it well tell you when you are too rich or too lean...... when the car is running it stay in the yellow..
i installed a seperate senor with the plan to get a wide band... like you said they are 300 dollars plus... hoping that they will come down...
