    Oil pressure shot up instantly too.......with no load in it you should be OK just listen for odd noises for a little while!!

    Ring land and/or cracked piston.......I suspect a piece of piston hit the plug wiping out the ground electrode and dislodging the insulator!!:eek: You need to drop a bore camera in there and hopefully prove me wrong??:cool: GOOD LUCK!! :thumb:

    What "skwerl" said.......crappy Clear Coat.....probably accelerated it too much and it was brittle with a poor bond to the Base Coat!!:cool: I had it happen on a Crown Vic once.....especially the flexible bumper cover!!:(
