It’s a 10mm. I couldn’t get any of my sockets to fit so I just ground off the corner of the block just a weee bit and it came right off, no issues. I didn’t want to pull the timing cover off since we were doing everything from underneath and already had half of the car apart.
Sooooooo I couldn’t get a socket or wrench on there, so I just took a file and shaved off the corner of that little knub and one of my sockets went right on. After a week I think she’ll finally be back on the ground
How do I take this f&cking thing off?!? I got the pan off the car, I got all the bolts out except for one. I can’t seem to get to it, anyone have any tips? It’s literally the only thing standing in my way of replacing the damn waking windage tray.
Huh, I never thought of that but that kinda makes sense since the suspension geometry changes ever so slightly as your wheels turn because of caster. My bushings all around have seem better days so that makes sense
So I got this grille insert for Christmas and it’s been sitting at my buddy’s garage since because we couldn’t figure out a good way to mount it. Well yesterday I spent the whole evening trimming and painting the stock grille and finally threw it all together. It came out absolutely fantastic...
I think the noise is coming from the steering rack itself. I was sitting in the car turning the wheels and my buddy was listening under the hood and it was coming directly from the middle of the car. Fucking great
Here’s a video of the sound. It squeaks every time I turn the wheel to the right. If I go lock to lock it will continuously squeak while I’m turning the wheel to the right. Bloody baffled here lads
So recently, since the weather warmed up a bit I’ve been driving the car a lot more than usual. After driving it for about an hour or more there’s this obnoxious squealing/squeaking when I turn the wheel to the right and only to the right. It only happens at low speeds like parking lots or when...
Reflector housings are just an outdated design and to be honest I don’t know why manufacturers still use them to be honest. It makes sense on a cheap economy car like a Fiesta but the Mustang? I think Ford realized their mistake in 2013 and updated all Mustangs to projector housings but those...
So I currently already have LED’s in my fogs and headlights, good quality bulbs and huge improvement over the halogens but the beam pattern is just meh. I have a huge dark spot right in the middle and a lot of light to the sides. I clocked the bulbs to sit exactly like the halogens and aimed...
