Magneride is a wonderful thing for sure. I would echo the others here saying to look at S550s as well. Maybe a nice Mach I with the handling package which also would get you the fancy dampers? S550 GT500s are beasts but they are really holding their value too. The Mach I would likely be my...
Yes they will be fine. All S197 wheels are interchangeable between model years other than the cars that have Brembo brakes requiring the right size / style to clear the calipers.
The TPMS sensors are different though.
Congrats, beautiful car! I personally prefer the look of the 07-09 GT500 compared to what I have, but because I do some track days I didn’t want the iron block. However, local to me a really nice low mileage 07 in Grabber Orange with Tungsten Grey stripes came up for sale, which is my...

255/45R18 is fine for 8.5” wheels too, and matches closely with the diameter to the factory 235/50R18. When my friend’s 08 Bullitt needed new skins that’s the size we got for him. Yes 9” would be ideal but for street use the 255/45 is fine on 8.5”.
Hopefully someone in the aftermarket sells them … I just logged in to the Ford parts catalogue, and from them you could only buy them with the upper intake, no separate service part.
