I would personally run 2000cc injectors. I don't like running higher base pressures with electric pump setups due to heat build up.

Forged crank confirmation for the experts?

I know you already have your answer, but I figured I would just confirm that you do have a forged crank. Manual mach 1 mustangs used the same crank as cobras.

Depends on your fuel pump setup too. I run 1600cc injectors, but I run a belt driven fuel pump which flows a ton of volume.

    Sinner....(Sactown F1R) build

I would say it's about time, but I take forever on my own stuff, lol. I'm ready to hear it with those cams.

    Strange Axles opinions please

35 spline pro race axles I run take a lot to break. I doubt you would break one if you do only street driving.

    No spark at COP connections

The 12v to the coils is constant. The ground is pulsed to fire the coils, so like was said a voltmeter won't work. You could pull out a cop and put the spark plug in the boot and crank the car to see if the plug is firing. You may have to ground the plug to get it to spark. Also, check your...

    Strange Axles opinions please

I don't remember, but with the strange setup they come with caliper mounts and everything to retain stock brakes if you order them that way. You would have to call strange for the part number. They offer a kit with axles and everything for around $750. 9" ends need to be welded on in a jig just...

    Strange Axles opinions please

I run strange pro race 35 spine axles and lightweight spool with 9" housing ends. They are high quality parts that I've had good luck with in other cars.

    Steering pump delete

That's what I did. I bought a new shorter belt and re-routed it. I can't remember the belt part number. I'll try and get it for you. Goodyear 4060882

    Preliminary Hellion Back Pressure results

I may have missed, but what trans do you have? I agree that you should temporarily drop the exhaust to have the downpipe as short as possible to see how much of a change there is. I bet with a 4" downpipe you would notice a pretty drastic difference in the hp/tq curves on your graph. I'm...

how to decipher which main bearing ?

Al blocks use the same bearings. Romeo iron use one set of bearings and Windsor iron use another set of bearings.

JDM 302E Engine Owners - Check In!!

If the cylinders are washed down, then you will have no choice but to replace the rings and re-hone. You will usually have scuffed piston skirts and cylinder walls, or maybe polished cylinder walls. Usually the crosshatch in the cylinder wall will be almost gone which means the cylinder walls...

JDM 302E Engine Owners - Check In!!

The guides look like the stock powdered metal ones. Unless they have a brass liner installed where the valve stem rides I wouldn't think they would have excess clearance since those are made to a certain spec with a slim tolerance range allowed by ford, but who knows. Is it stock valves? A...

JDM 302E Engine Owners - Check In!!

Any pics of the heads, or are you waiting until Christmas to disassemble it? The seats/seals are one piece, so hopefully they installed them since the seat pocket could be damaged by the valve springs without the steel seat. They also center the base of the valve spring and the installed height...

Pac 1533 are some of the best. They are a nitrided version of the Livernois springs, so seat pressure is a little higher and open pressure is too. 120lb seat pressure and 285lb open pressure at .550" lift. They use stock retainers and seats/seals.
