This is a 1:44 lap around Road Atlanta this past weekend with Peach State PCA. 2009 Mustang GT 5.0 3V NOTE: I tried a different camera that didn't work well. Buying a GPS GoPro! This was my 2nd time at RA. Lesson learned: Use 2nd gear into Turn 7.

Recently moved from Northern Maryland (previously Northern Virginia) to Huntsville, AL and attended my 1st HPDE at Road Atlanta this weekend with MVP! I managed a best lap time of 1:45.5 as I learned the new circuit. Awesome track!

Hey Chip, I sure did! '04 Corvette C5 with full roll cage, fire suppression, race seats, 6 pt. harnesses, etc. I tracked the C5 for about 9 years before selling it and making the Mustang GT my full-time road course car. Thanks, Mike

Skip the adjustable Panhard Bar and install a Fays2 Watts Link. Consider the Axle Exchange 1-piece Driveshaft over the Ford Racing 1pc Driveshaft. Koni Yellows front and rear with Steeda ultralight springs. Steeda sway bars and J&M Caster/Camber plates.

Good information. I have a 2009 GT that is putting down similar power, and I have the OEM 3650 5-speed transmission that is problematic at high RPMs - shifting from 3rd to 4th gear. I purchased a 13-14 GT500 clutch master cylinder to see if this helps resolve the problem. Thanks for posting. Mike
